Actually it is a swivel for a scuba MASK. It is for the proprietary fitting on the attached 2nd stage on an AGA mask made by Interspiro -- it is very popular among public service divers. Unlike a regular 2nd stage this one is attached to the mask. Should it fail the diver may not be able to remove the mask and get another 2nd stage. As such this is an important recall.

So it is a swivel that supplies air to a 2nd stage that a manufacturer makes that supplies a FFM?
I rest my case!
I would think one would use an inline shutoff valve in this scenario?
