Catalina Island November 8-10

Spent three days diving at Catalina last weekend. Some rough seas on Sunday kept most boats out but we still managed to get in a late afternoon dive on the calm side of Long Pt. and a dive night dive at Casino Pt. Water at the dive park was a bit rough and made for a tricky exit but made it through unharmed and no camera damage. Had really nice conditions at Bird Rock near Two Harbors with about 50 foot visibility. Pictures posted on my Photobucket:

Those photos did look like the visibility was exceptional....

Water was pretty clean. I have a new strobe set up that is ttl and I'm trying to learn it. Had to fight overexposure on alot of shots. Gotta save my penny's for a DSLR.

I've not had much luck fixing over exposures with photoshop. Underexposures generally seem to clean up very well. Maybe I just haven't learned the right tricks yet.
