Im surprised no one seems to have mentioned the new model!
I'm thinking of getting it for my forthcoming Red Sea dives.
What do you think? A worthwhile investment?

Did a quick look on the web and saw the camera for about $500, full kit with dual strobes for $1300. Don't know if that's good, bad or ugly.
Its good to 200 feet and the few reviews I saw seemed pretty positive.
Good luck, look forward to seeing the photos.
Take only pictures, leave only bubbles!
I bought one today but I am usatisfay about its housing because it does not allow me underwater to switch between video and still picture.
so if any body knows how can I solve that problem
If you hit the display button it will toggle between modes.
If you want video get a video camera! The DC800 is one of the top of the line point and shoot and takes great pictures in the hands of some one willing to learn! But I have never seen video that was worth 2 cents taken on a still camera!
