It is a very nice camera that needs lighting like all others Sea & Sea is a little awkward to deal with compared to other companies, but doable! The camera is 8 mg pixels if I remember? I have seen it is use and haven't heard any bad reports, just not a lot of enthusiastic ones either! You might also look at the new D800 Reef master kit in the same price range and a great company to work with

Both do well in cold water and are great for a beginner to indeterminate photographer
