    That sounds like the price for the housing made by Nikon, so you might want to check the depth ratings before deciding if it is a good deal or not. I have known some folks who have used these housing with no problems, while others report leaks around 30 feet. Remember, the housing is the most important part of the equation as it will determine how deep you can take that expensive pile of electronics.

    That $170 housing is the FantaSea housing and it is rated to 200'

    The difference between the factory housing and the Ikelite is the bulkhead! The extra money gives you direct connection with you camera so you don't have to use fiber optics for your external flash! You will want an external flash!
