    Default unregistered instructor?

is there a website where i could check if a PADI instructor is not registered/ un-renewed certification, etc? i can recall seeing/hearing about a list where one can see registered PADI instructors and DMs as well as those who did not renew their license/certification...

If you are a PADI Divemaster or above, you can access the padipro.com website and do a "pro-check" online (in addition to consumer level certifications as well).

pro-check - You need their padi number (a 6 digit number) and the first two letters of their first name.

dive-check - You need their date of birth, first name, middle initial and surname.

Dive-check won't tell you if they are a DM or higher. Only non-professional levels show up under dive check.

If they aren't a PADI instructor, then this is a futile effort of course.
