UltraCompact Digicam U/W Photos

These photos were taken with an ultra-compact Canon Powershot SD630 and Canon's matching underwater housing.

The housing has an opaque white plastic flash diffuser and the flash was set to always, the camera on auto, without the underwater setting enabled.

The camera system is great for the "alpinist" U/W photographer, but does not work well for macro in spite of being in macro mode, and the weak flash is only good to about 18" or half a meter.

These shots were taken in the Philippines.

nice! i like my sealife dc500, although, we don't have the clown fish here in the pacific northwest though oh well, still, nice pics though!
