I did the cross over from OC to CCR full cave in Mexico with Matt at Protec Diving.
If you'e thinking of doing the complete course on CCR, ie: cavern, intro to cave, apprentice and full cave, its a long haul.
Most people do this in two steps, cavern and intro, go practice, and then do the other two steps a year later.
At this time I beleive that IANTD is the only agency that has deveopped a course and standards for CCR cave.
I suggest that you take your CCR cavern and intro in Florida and finish off CCR full cave with Matt in Mexico.
This way you get the best of both worlds.
I believe the complete course is MINIMUM 600 minutes and at least 10 cave dives. You best discuss this with your instructor.
It's a long haul because you must perform all the CCR skills while performing all the cave skills. Lot's of multitasking!
But you know what? well worth it! You'll never look back!
    Go for it!

    Thanks again,
I highly recommend Protec as a excellent facility and Matt as a top notch instructor.
You might consider staying at Mom's hotel which is attached to the dive facility. It makes the logistics of diving a breeze.
It's also very reasonnable, and close to everything in Playa.
Bernadette can help you with the arrangements.
    Haver fun

Were you already cave certified (OC) and RB certified seafox, and then did the additional training, or was all of your cve training done on the RB?

I started my cave up to apprentice in Florida, on OC.
Finished full cave on RB in Mexico with Matt at Protec.
    Really enjoyed working with Matt.
