Hi Everyone,
The Kairos Company is conducting a research expedition in Tanzania to locate and document the Coelacanth, a prehistoric fish.

This is a deep diving expedition and if you want to participate you need a CCR, and CCR Trimix experience and off course the relevant certifications.

These rare opportunities do not come along everyday and if you want to apply your diving knowledge into a worthy cause for nature, then this is an ideal opportunity.

If your "other-half" wants to join, then he/she is welcome to come and have a vacation of a lifetime. We will also do a couple of recreational dives on pristine and unexploited reefs.

On the deep dives the recreational divers can always join the team at the deco station and take pictures or participate in the chit-chat going on to help time pass.

However, if you are a well experienced CCR diver but have not ventured into Trimix depths yet, we offer CCR Trimix and/or CCR Exploration Trimix training on the expedition as well. As a special promotion for The Kairos we will be practically throwing in the training for a minimum fee of EU450 per course, inclusive of all gas and consumables.

The Kairos is a very comfortable vessel, sturdy, well equipped, double chamber recompression chamber, banked Nitrox systems for the chamber and separate banked Nitrox for diving. Booster pumps for pumping any Trimix, two chase boats, electronics and survey equipment that is amazing, a good cook and friendly crew. Did I mention the HD plasma TV in the saloon?

Expedition Fee: EU 2,000 Excludes travel arrangements to and from Dar Es Salaam.
