    Linked to bry3500, this demonstrates a unique defensive mimicry behavior that begs the question of whether this behavior is inherited or learned.

    Actually, those are two different species on that video. Only the second one is marginalis (coconut octopus), I think.

    I photoed this maginatus with its favorite shell



    It later picked it up and ran across the bottom with it.
