    Default Henderson Polyolefin Fullsuit Question

I have an all black suit that I got a year or two ago. I recently ordered a blue and black suit only to find that the blue was lycra and not Polyolefin. Did Henderson change the construction or is this a difference between the all black and black/blue versions?

Charon, I've got people looking into this inquiry for you. With the amount of materials and changes year to year, I want to make sure we get you taken care of. Stay tuned...

I went back and had my wife (better with fabric than I) check both suits. The older suit had lycra on the shoulders as well. I hadn't noticed because the lycra on the all black was thicker than on the blue/black. She said that changing manufacturers or even different batches could account for it. Still I'm disappointed that no description anywhere indicates that the suit isn't Polyolefin throughout. I'm solving the problem of no insulation on the shoulders by purchasing a 3 mm vest.

Charon, sorry this took a bit to get back to you, but I wanted to be sure we double checked our inventory incase what you said was possibly true. We pulled random products and found the same thing your wife found-- it seems slightly different but in fact the material is the same on both colors. This could be because the interior lining fleece on the blue vs the black feeling more "fleecy". This however doesn't mean it is made out of a different material as you found.

Hope this helps you a little. Let us know if you've got any other concerns or questions and thanks for choosing Henderson.
