Can you slow pan it still with the legs rigid?

If the conditions are perfect and you only stabilize the housing on one leg it's possible, but it takes a lot of practice.

I'd love to do a timelapse shot like that. I've tried with christmas tree worms but it's just too hard to keep rock solid stable. Looks like I'll need to try this out.
