    Thanks Neil,
I always check that site before I go to Bonaire. They usually have the latest news!

    Talking Great photos

You have a great eye for photography, it made wish I was back there again. We just got back from Bonaire two weeks ago and this is the best and funnest diving I have ever done. Would you mine me asking what kind of camera you have, I want to get my wife a new camera for her birthday next week. We currently have a Cannon with underwater housing that was okay in shallow depths but not all that good at 40' and below.

I could almost smell the salt in the air! So that's the literal lay of the land, er, water too. I also peeked at your "faces" (there you are ) and "birds" (now there's even trickier timing) folders, you sure know how to seize a moment.

    Talking thank you

    Thank you everyone!

The underwater camera is good but not for "serious" photography. You know what I mean...the kind of pictures that go into the fish ID books!

My underwater camera is the Canon s80 and is great for what I do underwater. I take snapshots and short video of what I see. I don't want to get serious about the underwater photography because it changes the way you dive. The s80 is point & shoot and is just for fun!

My land camera is the Nikon D200. The housing alone would be over $2000 and not what I want to spend or how I want to dive, so just for fun, it's the point&shoot Canon for me.

    Thanks for asking....

I'll be in Bonaire the beginning of November 2007 again. This time a paid assignment to take photos!

It doesn't get better than this......

    Ciao!
