    Default OceanView videos

It has been a lot of work and quite the challenge for an old dog to learn new tricks yet http://www.oceanviewvideos.net is finally operational. Check the site out and please pass along any comments or suggestions that you may have.
    Enjoy,
    David

Ah, so you HAVE been busy!

I am always a fan of sites where thumbnail images can be clicked on and they open to much larger images.....

I couldn't get audio out of any of the vids using Firefox on a Mac.

I hope Sony has done something for you in return for the Vegas plug!

Thanks for the feedback Dave. Another Mac user was not even able to play the videos at all. I am still trying to determine what is the best compression codec to use for streaming the videos over the internet as well as allowing for universal play on any device. Any suggestions that you may have would be greatly appreciated. This plug-in may resolve the audio issue: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/w...r/wmcomponents. Please let me know if it works.

It turned out I had updated my monitor firmware and didn't resent the audio out to the external speakers I have. The audio plays just fine now.

Yes, I am able to view the videos just fine.

There is always Quicktime, but that would require that Windoze users have the free QT plugin.

You could always use Flash as the codec which is cross platform till HTML6 is more thoroughly distributed.

Very cinematic background score on the main video!

It has been more than three years since the OceanView site went live and quite a few videos have been uploaded since then. Take a look here: http://oceanviewvideos.net/Videos.html; you may find that there are videos from dive sites and locations that you would like to visit.
