Default North Zuma Beach, California (One of my favorite areas for halibut)

The big halis move into our coast just about now. If you're not into Pismo Clams, try the north end of this same beach for big halibut. Find the directions and hints on diving this spot on in this week's entry on Otto's Dive Log at http://www.ottogasser.com/blog.

    Hey Otto

I just read all that on your blog, very interesting! I have run into sand dollar beds in the thousands before.....strange.....

Sounds like between the occasional halibut and the Pismo clams, one can have quite a meal out of it all.

When lobster gets cheaper than hamburger at your house, it's nice to have a little variety...can't beat a good clam chowder or fish stew. Happy diving.., Otto

    NICE!!!

I love a good chowder. If anyone needs some recipes let me know, I make a mean New England Chowder. I actually make a really good Manhattan too, but I love New England style myself.
