Wow, that was cool. Watching it change color so much was amazing.

That was the first mimcs, I've ever seen in the Philippines. The spot was only 7m deep located infront a small village. They were around 30 cm in length. The divemaster told us that the place is still unknown to the other dive shops, therefore we found ONLY 7 mimics, so each potographers actually had his private mimic. While I was filming them others swam around me as I saw on pictures after the dive. Awsome experience.

Only 7 mimic octopus in one dive site?! Forget it then! lol.

That's awesome....sort of like a mimic assembly line for underwater photogs/videographers...

This is cool! Saw my first (and only) mimic octopus in Lembeh Straits, Manado.

Great footage Klemens. Zeny and I will have to dive GhostTown next year with Pedro. Last April we only had time to dive Napantao and Limasawa and of course do some whaleshark snorkelling.

    hi Joe,
yes Pedro should take you there, it's a spot not to be missed. Apart from the mimics we had flamboyant cuttlefish and lots of harlequin ghostpipefish there, not to talk abouth the seldom milbe nudibranchs with their Radula (mouth) feeding constantly. I will post a short video from Leyte in the next weeks.
    thanks for your nice comments.
