    He does have a great attitude on life. I think we view things like that similarly. I believe it is something that happens to some people when they almost loose their life or a similar situation. Like Richard Pyle, I had a spinal cord injury, nearly lost the ability to walk forever. Fortunately with surgery and rehabilitation I was able to walk again. Having that experience changed who I was an unfathomable amount!

    Anyway, his discoveries are nothing short of amazing. In the bigger picture for divers, his advancements with using rebreathers at these depths is only going to help us to have better equipment and training, as well as allow us to dive deeper and safer in the future. This is the kind of science that needs our support!
