    Default BladeFish Sea Jet

Has anyone used one of these: BladeFish Sea Jet specifically the BladeFish 5000 and how do they compare to the Sea-Doo Sea Scooter line. I'm looking at it primarily as a travel sea scooter and was hoping someone had some experience with it.

What a bizarre looking scooter, but as long as it works! I can't imagine traveling with anything like that on an airline though.

So how long have you been representing the Sea Scooter Express company?

I have seen the Bladefish a few times. My friend just got one in fact. I am pretty skeptical about it as I can't imagine it has enough power to really move someone underwater, but he swears it works good. It is very small and lightweight, maybe 8lbs or so. The one he has has 3 speeds I think and looks all kinds of fancy. Bottom line is if it really works well, then it would be an amazing thing.

By the way it did get a gear of the year rating or something like that in one of the print publications.

Let me know if you get to try it. Next time I am down in Florida I will try to convince him to let me give it a whirl.

I think it does work, but I also think it is going to be very slow. If you want something fast you need to forget these and be prepared to spend $3-5k to get something really good. Of course for travel, these are about the only option.
