Yes, this one is a young one, they start tiny gunnel size... they grow old and grey (purple if female) with time. This one is an adolescent She still has her baby colors including the yellow tail, but is starting to purple/grey out. The tiny ones are vivid orange and maroon I've 'raised' one from about 8 or 10 inches to the size of this one before (took a couple years and hundreds of dives) I fed her scallops and she'd follow me around like a wolfie-puppy
