Welcome to our forum. This is a great place to start to get back into diving. I don't know about the diving where you live, but I am sure there is something close by if you don't mind the cold.

I will start looking for dive sites in your area and will let you know.

    Got some info. for you.

    Virginia:

    1. Excellent diving off the coast, lots of wrecks (WW2)
    2. Lake Millbrook (aka Millbrook Quarry)
    3. Lake Rawlings
    4. Fishersville Quarry

In West Virginia you have :

    1. Summersville Lake
    2. Mt. Storm Lake ** Warm water year round!!

    In North Carolina :

    1. Norman Quarry (PDRA Lake)
    2. Blue Stone Dive Resort
    3. Mac Robertson Quarry
    4. JMR Quarry
    5. Fantasy Lake Scuba Park
    6. Onslow Bay
    7. Radio Island
    8. Ocean diving, the wrecks of North Carolina are some of the best in the world and there are LOTS of sharks!

Hope that helps give you a start. If you need more information on any of these places, let me know as I do have info. on some of them.
