The Windjammer was carrying a cargo of tar when, in 1912, it sank down to 60 meters. Almost a century later, its cargo continues to run out slowly. At certain places, it runs out of crack of the hull like toffee and on the bottom, it folds and stretches going ever deeper at an incredibly slow pace.

This site is located very close to an important oil transit center and the authorities must authorize the dive while requiring that the tourists be accompanied by an accredited guide. We were pleased to benefit from the highly professional services of Walter Stark owner of Rec Tek Scuba (http://www.rectekscuba.com) who enabled us to visit this three masted beauty.
