    Default What is it ?

    While walking just above the surf line in Cocoa Beach, we came upon several of these and have no idea what they are. Once we put it into water, it has bloomed. Not sure if it is some type of soft coral, juvinial fan, or what... They are maybe about 1/1.5" wide and 2-3" tip to tail (when extended)...

    Looks like some type of Tube Anemone. The photo you posted is really small so I can't tell for sure though.

    If you click on the photo, it triples in size.

    It sort of looks like a sea pen.
