Hello my name is neil

I currently live and work in the maldives as a snorkeling guide/instructor. I am also a advanced padi diver and would really like to take my underwater photography more seriously and to the next stage.

I currently use a Sony N1 compact and do get some good results but am looking at getting a better camera and as another member quite rightly said, it's very good to find advice from others on a forum such as this.

Welcome aboard.

There are plenty of photographers on this forum, from us amateurs who like to take snaps to remember our dives to pros who make a living at it. Just looking at some of the pictures provided by members you can see the skill level of some people here. Should be plenty of advice and guidance available, just tell people what you are interested in and they will, I'm sure, give their views.
