    Default Image Stabilization

While slowly panning the videocam from one side to another, image stabilization kills the shot by blurring it. I use a SONY HDR-HC3 and I
cannot find a way to turn this feature off. Anyone have any clues?

    Thanks,
    Lars

Even with a tripod and a fluid head which is what I now use, , panning with HDV compression leave something to be desired, but you're right, image stabilization sucks.

On the touch screen under MENU, touch [MENU], select the desired menu I believe to camera set, touch up or down till you find Steadyshot, then turn off, then select OK.

Below is the HDR-HC3 manual as a PDF.
