    Default Resort Videographer Needed in Sabah

    From ScubaZoo in Sabah:

    We are always interested in hearing from any potentially new underwater video-camera operators for our island based studios and to join our long term camera team. Although we don't have any open positions at the present time, if you are passionate about a life with SZ then let us know so we can contact you when something does open up. A face to face interview is key to the success of any SZ applicant whether here in Malaysia or UK during one of our many production trips back to blightey.

    Successful applicants shall be taught the Scubazoo way of filming and will ultimately look after and run a scubazoo film studio based in Malaysia, Maldives or Indonesia. We would like to hear from experienced divers, passionate about the underwater world and the prospect of learning how to capture the fascinating marine environment on film.

    For us to seriously consider an application, you need to send your full CV (please make sure E-mails are less than 3MB in size), film samples (via free internet upload sites) as well as already be a competent diver (preferably certified to PADI Divemaster or above and with approx. 200+ dives) and should be able to answer yes to as many of the following as possible:

    You have a good knowledge or passion for natural history and the marine world;
    You have a biological sciences education / background / serious interest;
    You have an interest / experience in video / photo (NB - Please send samples of your work however not essential but highly beneficial - all necessary training will be given);
    You have good pr, social and/or sales skills;
    You’re prepared for very long working hrs at times and have a work hard, play hard and open minded attitude to life;
    You're prepared to work on small isolated islands and abide by Resort protocols and regulations;
    You’re resourceful & creative with good time management / organisation skills;
    You’re under 30 years old, single, have no ties at home and you are able to commit to a minimum of 1 year with SCUBAZOO (preference will be given to those seeking long term employment.)
    You have some other language skills (NB - this is not essential but of benefit given the international clientele you will be filming everyday).
    Once again - If you are passionate, more than interested and can answer ‘yes’ to most of the above, then we want to hear from you.

    Please it is imperative to send a full CV, passport picture and any film/photo samples to Simon Enderby at simple@scubazoo.com

    We look forward to hearing from you.
