I saw Def Leppard in concert 6 months ago.....

Many bands where the lead singers hit high notes crumple when singing live, especially after they've been at it for awhile, as you only have so many strained high notes in your voice, but they did a great job of hitting most of them....and they were awesome...

Of course, if I was still 14 years old, I would say; "The Scorps Rule dude!" lol

I saw only of few concerts growing up. Found crowds overbearing, over the years my taste changed. My siblings were quite a bit older and while my friends were rocking out to Van Headache (Never cared for them, I hate cover bands) I was listening to Van Morrison. I knew who Robert Johnson was long before most relized the real roots of some of thier favorite songs, it was trip playing orginal tunes to the remakes they thought were orginal...priceless.

I liked Metal but once it was main stream and eveyone started becoming lemmins, I found new stuff, mostly older, Stray Cats blew me away, I love that sound, pushed me towards blues and jazz. Cats Stevens lyrics were great and taught me how to listen closer. Van Morrison opened my eyes to new styles and because each album he seems to be trying something a little diffrent, I got hooked. I recently have been hooked on Richard Thompson (actually saw and met him a few monthes ago - Look up 1952 Vincent Black Lighting on youtube) KT Tunstal (sp) is interesting and has some great lyrics. There is always my angry rock-a-billy Mojo Nixon , who can forget"Debbie Gibson is pregnant with my Two-headed love child" or "I'm living with a 3 foot Anti-Christ"

Oh look I am rambling again and have to stop now.... more later.....
