    Default Okay a little help;)

I saw this on the front side of Santa Cruz Island this last week! It is 6 inches long and either a Sea Cucumber type critter or a Worm? It was surggy conditions and did have the opportunity to inspect it as close as I would have liked!

Never seen that before, Reed. Did you touch it?
Was it sturdy, with an exoskeleton, or soft like a nudibranch?

Just got to push it a little with Reed's Rod and it seemed like a Bristle Worm kinda deal, but cold water with heavy gloves and surge! ?????

That is what I was going to say. If so, it is most likely poisonous, don't eat it....lol.

I'd say Sea Cucumber, there's a "Slender Sea Cucumber" in the Caribbean, Holothuria impatiens, don't have the right reference books for your part of the world, but it looks like it might fit the bill. One of its Ca cousins perhaps?

I am not discounting that at all! It was not real mobile when I saw it so you might be on to the right track, I will have to see where it goes?
