    Default Pressure Gauge

Does anyone know of a fix for a little annoying leak on the swivel part right by the gauge? I've already tried a little oil.

is there one at the swivel? Thought there was only one where it connects to the actual gauge.

There still should be another o-ring in the swivel, which you may or may not be able to replace. Of course you could always remove or replace the swivel.

Oil is not what you should use on the rubber parts (like o-rings) as it reacts with it and makes it degrade. You can use silicone lubricant that is designed for this job, and it is pretty cheap too. I doubt it will stop any leak, but you do need to have a film of the stuff on your new o-ring.

yea I didn't use oil it was the lube that I used. But any way two tiny O-rings and a buck later my problem is fixed

Nice! How infrequently we go to the dive shop and only spend a few "real" dollars, not multiple "scuba bucks"!

yea I figured they would want to charge me to "rebuild" it but I guess since I took it apart and just brought the part in with the o rings that all they charged me for was 2 o rings

Next time you're in there, buy a few for spares.

well then I looked in the generic o ring kit I've only used once for a tank valve, which I thought only had tank o rings and I found four of the sizes I needed. Oh well..... the ones I bought were a lot better quality.
