We can all live it and not just talk it! Make a point of it! I do a simple thing to say thanks, besides saying it, I never let a uniformed solider pay for a meal in a restaurant that I am in! I also vote for those who will support them and their mission!

When I run into the service folks at lunch at this Vietnamese restaraunt I like and frequent, I go the register and take care of all their meals payment, then go over and tell them that there is always some way citizens can show their patriotism so their lunch was on me and thanks, and I shake everyone of their hands while thanking them.

I draw no distinction between full time or Guard types, and I don't care if they clean latrines or file paper in cabinets or man artillery batteries, every single one of them deserves our gratitude and respect.
