Default Room for achromatic diopter on Phenom housing?

I was wondering if anyone has managed to fit a screw on dual element achromatic diopter to an FX1/Z1 on a Phenom housing.....I know the flip filters would need to be removed....

Some of the extreme macro video footage I have shot with a +3 standard diopter shows spherical abberations and I know achromatic diopters eliminate that. For $375 for a Schneider achromatic dual element diopter, they better!

Any links or more info? It would be nice to see shots for comparison!

I have acquired a new +3.5 Schneider/Century achromatic diopter that I modified the carrier. It BARELY fits inside with just about .003" clearance from the inside of the dome port.

The results are spectacular though. I used it for the Anilao, Philippine video footage I shot used in the Philippines television show that featured me and my macro HD video footage.

I have to edit the footage still but it should be the clearest, tightest HD video footage of bobtail squid and skeleton shrimp including babies that is out there.
