    Default Mayan Riviera

    Just got back from a trip to a place about 20 miles south of Playa del Carmen. Reef wasn't terribly exciting but the cenotes and Mayan ruins were. Cozumel is far better from a reef point of view.

    We just got back from pretty much the same area. We didn't get any reef dives in, but did a couple of cavern dives, and about 28 cave dives.

    The clarity of the water just blew us away. "Gin clear," they called it. Just gorgeous.
