I bet you were. I remember my first dry suit dive. I could not believe the difference it made. I was suddenly comfortable on every dive, even multiple dives.

You know DUI has one of the greatest dive ad's I have ever seen. It is a photo of two dive log books, one is thin and neat, the other is very thick with pages falling out and very worn. The ad only states something like

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A WETSUIT DIVERS LOG BOOK AND A DRY SUIT DIVERS LOG BOOK.

That ad is so good because it is real, plain and simple.

OO.. it wasn't my first drysuit dive, I've been diving dry for a while... We Canucks dive under the ice, and I'm soooooooo not doing that in a wet suit! It was just my first custom, nice fitting suit... *bows to DUI*

Ice diving is rather cold in a wetsuit.

which if you are a guy, you will not be able to find for a few days after diving in ice with a wetsuit.
