Designer Turbans (Pucci, Yves Saint Laurent, Valentino and Miu Miu) are available at Holt Renfrew, Barney's, Saks Fifth Avenue and Bloomingdale's. They are supposed to be the hottest fashion accessory this year. Henri Bendel even has a Turban Bar on its Mezzanine level. Does every fashion forward turban-wearing woman get patted down too? Does every man/recovering cancer patient have to remove their toupee, wig and headcovering too?

I understand why people (especially very religious ones) would get upset about that, but the bottom line is the safety of everyone. Unfortunately any headware would make a great hiding place for anyone if exempt from removal and/or search.

I do wonder.......how much terrorism would there be if there was no religion?
