Question Book on edible sealife - seafood.

I've been looking, but can't seem to find a book that tells you which ones are edible and which ones are not: sea urchins, sea cucumbers etc.

Does anyone know of such a book?

I think a book on which ones are excluded would be too large!

    Really?

I think you can eat MOST plants and animals from the sea. Some may not be so tasty or appealing (it does not sound fun eating a cute turtle), but I don't think too many things will actually kill you.

That being said, I usually only eat crabs, lobster, shrimp, clams and tuna, everything else can stay with the fishes.

For example, sea urchins in Nova Scotia: I know they are harvested commercially, but there doesn't seem to be a sport license for harvesting. I was just wondering which ones I see during a dive are food and which ones are not. Same for sea cucumbers. I guess the books omit that info to prevent/hinder poaching. But I wonder when I see them: is *that* tiny thorny thing what I pay top $ at my favourite sushi bar to eat?
