Instructor Trainee summer work study program- no training fees

If you are a highly experienced diver OR have a Dive-Master rating, we offer a summer 2 and ½ month Instructor/ Technical Instructor Trainee work study program. Pay for books, c cards and Agency fees- you do not pay for training. This is an Internationally recognized Instructor Training program which can be custom tailored to your needs. Our trainers represent some of the largest SCUBA training agencies in the world. You will do from 80 to 125 dives this summer,(majority are boat and computer dives) including lobster dives, in a 2 plus month period. Use of all dive Gear is included. We usually dive National Park Rivers, small and large mountain Lakes such as Lake George, the Atlantic Ocean, the St Lawrence river way on the Canadian border and other bodies of water. Diving in multiple underwater environments- not just an ideal underwater environment will train you as an Instructor to deal with emergency contingencies and monitoring abilities necessary for a true professional in the diving industry. Our graduates travel the world, working in the Mediterranean, the Pacific, the Atlantic, Thailand, South and North America and many other places; in warm and cold water environments; in great and limited visibility waters – not just an ideal underwater environment. The first month is dedicated to your training while in the remaining portion of the summer, you will continue your training while helping train adults and children while doing additional dives with the staff. Expect to do 85 to 125 dives that summer. We qualify- not just certify our instructors!
Important Note: All training meets or exceeds individual SCUBA agency training standards required for each individual certification acquired. This is a dedicated intensive SCUBA training program. Only dedicated, interested individuals need apply.
