THE AUBURN SKIN DIVERS ASSOCIATION INVITES YOU TO SHARE IN THEIR 50TH
ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION ~ Banquet April 4, 2009.
The Auburn Skin Divers Association is one of the oldest dive clubs in New York State. With a total past and present membership totaling nearly 500 people. We will start our year long celebration of our club's 50th anniversary on April 4, 2009 . Our annual April banquet will be held at The Springside Inn (http://www.springsideinn.com/), Auburn NY. We will host a variety of dignitaries including our guest speaker, David Concannon. ( http://www.explorerconsulting.com/pu...gspeaking.html )
In 2001, David Concannon participated in the Atlantic Sands expedition, an extraordinary adventure involving veterans of deep water exploration that discovered the nearly intact remains of world's deepest wooden shipwreck -- an American slave trader lying three miles deep in the heart of the Bermuda Triangle. This presentation conveys the spirit of adventure and exploration at its finest. David was also one of the pioneering divers that has explored the Titanic.
Enjoy Hor D'oevres at 6:00 p.m. as you browse dive equipment, artifacts and photos while you mingle with other divers.
Our banquet begins at 7:00 will include a Cheese display, Hor D'oevres and a Fresh Veggie Crudités
Dinner will be buffet style with Beef of Sir Loin, Roast Turkey with dressing and
Baked Boston Scrod. You will also have a choice of rice, or potato and a cash bar will be available.
We have a maximum of 200 available seats for this event. Don't miss out on a
great evening of celebration!
