Nikon just announced their new full frame D700 DSLR camera that will be of interest to pro underwater photographers.
Notable differences are a much larger sensor size, a magnesium allow chassis, dust and weather sealing, much higher ISO capability. It is listed as $1200 more expensive than the D300.
