Yeah, DiveChick isn't exactly playing fair! :)
Oh yes I am! :p
All's fair in Love, War, and...... Scuba?
I come from a long line of distinguished flirts – or maybe that was just dirty old men.
I’m glad my wife’s a romance writer – she demands I keep flirting to give her more material.
There's nothing ever that is "dirty" about seeking out physical pleasure and enjoying it. :)
now that's my kind of girl!
now THIS is a thread worth watching..... litterally... (and YES she is a CUTIE!!)
Flirting is a healthy thing isn't it? (I think I heard some psycologist say that somewhere)
I am in on this.....
OMG, too bad your in California
I think she was more talking about eating at McDonalds than what you guys are thinking.
Besides she might be a 280 pound hairy backed guy ya know
True.....Sorry, but I had a momentary lapse into being philosophical. :p
I KNEW this thread would be worth keeping an eye on!!
Hitting 40 means you don't react like an 18 year old, but you have enough brains to be able to investigate and aquire little yellow or blue friends that allow you to bury the 18 year olds into the ground.
;)
I think they are referring to cyclic GMP phosphodiesterase inhibitors such as Viagra, Cialis and Levitra.
Thanks for the translation.
Scuba diving is so educational . . . :)
And here all along I thought they were nitric oxide modulators...
;)
No, they don't affect nitric oxide levels. The release of nitric oxide is partially involved in having an erection. It activates the enzyme guanylate cyclase which forms cyclic GMP. It is this compound that leads to relaxation of the blood vessels that supply the corpus cavernosum. These drugs inhibit an enzyme that breaks down cyclic GMP, thus increasing its level and allowing the erection to proceed. If you want to directly increase nitric oxide levels, there are other strategies you can follow.Quote:
And hear all along I thought they were nitric oxide modulators...
A dozen oysters works wonders.
OR a couple of tequilla shots:rolleyes:
scuba + a pair of fire poi = a wet and hot weekend. :)
Would the decreased arterial resistance caused by Viagra aid in the off gassing of nitrogen and prevent trapping of potential bubbles? Would it relieve some symptoms of DCS and could it be used to reduce the potential for DCS or would the possibility of increased après dive activity offset the benefits? I guess I’ll have to donate my body to the study of prophylaxis effects.
