From the article it sounds like he was diving by himself while his buddy was still on the boat. I wonder what happened as the article does not tell much about the incident but rather about the search. Of course they don't forget to mention what colors he is wearing, as that is really important!
I am so relieved to hear that the lost diver was found only a mile off the coast (may as well been a thousand miles after hours of bobbing around out there for endless hours).
Sure would like to know what happened and the circumstances that led to him getting "lost".
There's always a lesson to be learned.
No matter how experienced you are, you have to respect the sea and the inherent risks of diving.
Never forget...
watch your air, watch your depth, watch your boat and don't dive alone.
