Apparently the temporary Captain lost all engines due to a wave crashing through the bridge and flooding out the electronics, causing a short and power shutdown, but eventually they got 1 engine restarted (they normally have 3) and wallowed about during this video.

Reduced forward speed into waves at an angle can induce a response called Parametric Rolling (http://209.85.165.104/search?q=cache:Bzy6fLgJ1AMJ:www.shipmotion.se/download/ParametricRoll.pdf+parametric+rolling+explanation&hl=en&ct=clnk&cd=2&gl=us&client=safari)

If you think that video was wild, bet you want to see what it was like for the people inside?

How big do the waves have to be when they are coming over the bow of a ship that size? Yikes! Wild ride!
