Hi everyone,

My name is Richard, and I'm a recent convert to the addiction of scuba diving. After a chilly introduction in a muddy glacial pond of Massachusetts last year (water temp in the 40s F), I have since moved to New Zealand and gone diving in Fiji (Somosomo strait), the Poor Knights Islands, and the Great Barrier Reef, each of which was spectacular in its own way. But my favorite was Fiji. Just amazing.

Right now I'm starting to plan a trip to SE Asia this July and August. Looking to dive specifically in Indonesia, perhaps Bali, but also looking with interest at North Sulawesi and the Bunaken area & Lembeh strait. Our travels will take us to Vietnam and possibly Thailand after that.

Any recommendations in Indonesia?

Cheers,
Richard

Welcome to the sight! Be sure take pictures and review your trip for us, I am doing the Solomon Islands on the Belikiki in August 26th to the 6th, come and join us! I dive Fiji a lot you might try Wananavu Beach Resort their diving is the best or Beqa Lagoon for their Boomies! Somosomo is very good diving as is all of Bligh Water ;)
