Hi. I am new to this forum. I live on mainland Ecuador and spend about 40% of my time in the Galapagos. I am very lucky to work as a dive operator, lucky because of how much I love diving and especially diving in the Galapagos.
I was first certified in 1993, but shortly afterwards, didn't dive for 12 years. Then, I ended up falling passionately in love with diving all over again. I must admit, I'm not very motivated to dive anywhere else since we have it so good here. I LOVE diving with hammerheads in particular...the more there are the better. I know everyone loves the whale sharks and I do, too...but still, for me, it's the hammerheads.
Every now and then I do think of how nice it would be to dive without a 7mm wetsuit.
