We're in the process of doing some upgrades via our webmaster so there are some temporary glitches that will be fixed shortly.

The scubamagazine publisher and I have had some extensive discussions about the current fine art nude underwater photos that are automatically being displayed in our new photobar near the top.

We are all in complete agreement that there is never anything "shameful" with fine art nudity, we think the ancient Greeks elevated it to where the nude human body rightly belongs-a work of art to be admired, not shamed, and we think our fellow Americans have some seriously unhealthy "issues" about the nude human body that Europe thankfully doesn't have...BUT,

We don't currently find a context of which it is appropriate in a diving forum, not because they are nude, but because they aren't about scuba diving and underwater marine life.

Maybe if the photos were in the ocean in a reef setting, like some of the cinematography in the Blue Lagoon, we would give it some serious thought, but for now we're working on removing them because they are off topic, not because they are nudes. Till they are removed, enjoy-they're beautiful!

Our hats are off to our our new professional photographer member spacekphotos, as you cannot begin to appreciate how difficult it has to be to get those gorgeous underwater dreamy shots! :)

If you can find any genuine, real live nude mermaids, not just a human female with a fake costume on, we'll make you a deal, you can post videos and photos of them here! lol
