Hello everyone, recently decided to give diving a try in Thailand on my recent family holiday. I was really scared but i went on a course with the most friendly and experienced instructors. I would recommend everyone to www.scubacat.com , I hope anyone going to Phuket would try diving (http://www.scubacat.com/en/scuba_courses/learn_to_dive)as its the most amazing experience i have ever done :)

Hello Bob, welcome to our forum.
I am glad to see you got involved with diving and are enjoying it. I do have some bad news for you though, now that you have been diving in Phuket, you are going to have a difficult finding other places that are as good.
I REALLY hope to get to dive there someday.....wait change that, I WILL dive there someday!

Just bought a scuba diving book that rates the best dive destinations in the world and see that although Phuket is good there are equally good destinations around the world for diving, looks like my holidays are sorted for the next few years
