My name is Mike, and I'm a computer guy in the Hampton Roads area.

My dad started me on snorkeling and free diving in the `70s, and I moved on to SCUBA in the early `80s. I've dove all over the US, from Maine to FL to TX, and Coronado Island to Hoods Canal. Quarries in PA, the Aurora reservoir outside of Denver, Ginnie Springs, and Blue Hole, Santa Rosa, NM, I just like blowing bubbles.

I recently started diving for the local aquarium, which I've found to be very challenging. High salinity, low tank pressure, and very shallow water makes buoyancy control challenging.

Now if I could just figure out how get my Jeep to run on the bottom (of the ocean, not the aquarium), I'd be in Heaven :)

You need a snorkel for the Jeep. That and extend the breather lines for the front and rear axle, differential and trans and you should be able to get pretty deep.

A snorkel, fed by a tank via a step-down valve! I want the Jeep Deep! :D

I guess it could be done. Maybe a set of 800 cubic foot twins mounted on a back plate over the roll bars.
