I just found out that I am heading to Cinque Terre, Italy for a little over a week in May. I am wondering if anyone here has been diving in that area or knows anything about diving there, or even non diving things to do/see while I am there. Any help, advise or suggestions would be appreciated.

Which island there? I believe there are 5. The food will be awesome!

It is actually 5 fishing villages located close to each other on the north western shore of Italy. They are all located pretty close to each other and the entire area is a national park. There is a marine park there as well, so I am sure the diving is good, I am just looking to find out as much as I can before I go.

And I am sure the food will be amazing!

There was a short article in some travel magazine a few years back on Cinque Terre as a hidden gem off the tourist track. It did mention diving too.

If you find out what magazine and issue, let me know. There is not much info. on the place, but from the little I have seen it looks amazing. We will see that's for sure!
