Day 1
Welcome to Johannesburg, South Africa! This is where your Kruger park and Mozambique adventure starts and ends. Transfer to and overnight at the 4 star Airport Grand Hotel.

Day 2 to 7
Get on the transfer back to the airport to depart on your flight to Mozambique. When landing in Inhambane, Mozambique, you will be met by a guide transferring you to your accommodation in Tofo. Enjoy the short drive to Tofo by taking in the culture of the locals selling goods along the side of the road whilst the kids swim carefree in every pool of water they can find. Remember to ask your guide to stop at the Petromoc at the entrance of Tofo so that you can draw money from the ATM. For the next 6 nights you will be sleeping in the beach casitas right next to our preferred dive centre. The casitas are self catering. You can cook for yourself here or visit one of the many restaurants in Tofo. Your stay here includes a 10 dive package per person with cylinders, weights and air fills. Let us know in advance if you also require other equipment hire.

Day 8 to 10
Today you wave goodbye to Tofo and get back on the transfer to Inhambane for your return flight to Johannesburg. This is a connecting flight to Nelspruit from where you will be picked up by a representative from The Grand Kruger Lodge. The next four nights you will spend at the stunning and relaxing 4 star guesthouse, Grand Kruger Lodge. This lodge les within Marloth Park and animals such as giraffes and zebra roams freely here. The lodge also borders The Kruger National Park. Your game drives will start at your guesthouse from where you will be taken into The Kruger National Park itself. No reserve can match that of the Kruger National Park and you will experience this first hand on your game drives here. Your stay at the Grand Kruger Lodge includes 2 x 8 hour drives which means that after breakfast you will be collected at your lodge very early in the morning and taken into Kruger National Park. Driving around in the park you will see many animals whilst your knowledgeable guide will answer all of your questions, give you interesting facts and spot the animals you may not spot yourself. You will take a break from your 8 hour game drive to enjoy lunch at one of the many rest camps in the park. You will arrive back at the lodge early evening after which you can share your safari tales around the bon fire that has made stays at Grand Kruger Lodge so memorable. You will also participate in a night drive and cultural village tour during your stay at the lodge. One of your most memorable and interesting trips however will definitely be the guided bushwalk. Spot the big things and the small things with a very knowledgeable guide by your side. All of your activities are guided by qualified guides.

Did a Safari a few years back in South Africa, also on the edge of the Kruger National Park. Absolutely amazing! We've all seen those fabulous Animal Planet or Discovery Channel nature shows, just imagine being in the middle of one. The big 5 referred to are Lion, Leopard, Rhino, Buffalo and Elephant.

To combine a trip like that with a dive vacation, sounds like a winner to me!

You know I would never make a trip that far without the intention of diving. We are trying to work out something now that would allow us to take an extended vacation to really explore. Just trying to decide what part of the world we want to go. There are a lot of things to consider, but Africa seems like it could be the trip of a lifetime.
