This is a follow-up HD interview we did with Dr Bill Stone of Cis-Lunar on the Mark 6 Discovery CCR that requires free registration to view.

This time he shows the full production unit, including:

1. Powering up the displays

2. Explaining and showing exactly what everything means on the displays

3. Stone shows how during the automated pre-dive test all the operator has to do is touch the mouthpiece twice during the process

4. He explains some of the 20 different reasons why the unit will instruct an operator to ascend, such as exact values like cylinder low or excessive consumption or metabolic rates, sensor values, calculated derivative sensor values, calculated response data values, etc, that all correlates over the digital communications network to the controlling resource algorithm.

The rest, well, see it for yourself.

Hi,

Are there any updates on this rebreather? Is it in production yet? Signed up for RAID, but don't show anything for the US yet.

thanks,

They should be in production within a few months.....The unit shown in this interview is a production model....the clear urethane loops hoses are really interesting....smooth bore but externally corrugated, and dishwasher safe they say.
