Volunteers Sought for Monterey Bay Ship Sinking Project

Plenty of opportunities for divers to get involved in this important effort.

Northern California Oceans Foundation, the NorCal Sink Group for California Ships to Reefs is embarking on an aggressive program to get ships down in Monterey Bay. We have completed preliminary dives on the proposed sites (one at recreational dive depth and one at technical dive depth) and are preparing to submit our first permit in order to complete baseline studies. Come hear about these specialized dive protocols and how you can help.

We need DIVERS!! Is this YOU??

In parallel, we have set a fast-paced goal of making 20 presentations to business groups, tourism groups and political groups over the next 90 days.

We need SPEAKERS!! Is this YOU??

These jobs don’t suit your fancy? We have a job for everyone! If you’ve been laying back in the reeds just waiting for something to start, now is the time to step up to the plate & help get YOUR ship sunk!!

So pass the word on to your friends and people you think could be interested! We are all going to get together to provide MORE information and move this project forward...get prepared...SAVE THE DATE:
