SUMMARY: We are seeking a Regional Manager to provide PADI Members within the North-East Australia & PNG Region with customer service, support and consultation. The region includes:- Queensland, Northern Territory, Papua New Guinea.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILIES: The Regional Manager serves as the major field liaison between PADI members and the various departments of PADI Asia Pacific. This is accomplished through regular contact with PADI members during store visits, member meetings, Annual Member Forums, and via email and telephone.
Promote the PADI education system and philosophy,
Provide the in-the-field customer service and support to the current PADI membership,
Function as in-the-field instructional specialist in consultation/seminars with PADI member,
Formulate new International Resort & Retailer Association member recruitment and acquisition strategies,
Promote the sale of PADI products to dive retailers and PADI members
Promote PADI Dive Centre and PADI Resort promotions,
Represent PADI before governments and other official agencies as directed
Act as a consultant, author and auditor of PADI product translations.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES: You should have sales or marketing experience in the dive industry (management/ownership preferred), experience teaching in a retail dive store environment, be a PADI instructor (Course Director preferred) and have good diver educational training history with PADI.
Excellent communication skills
Non-English language skills where appropriate
Public speaking skills
Appropriate citizenship and ability to gain visas that would permit the unhindered movement through the Asia Region.
Willingness to travel
Willingness to dedicate time outside of normal working hours when reasonable and appropriate.
The Regional Manager is required to live and operate within the Region.
